    The Forensic Research Institute is a research and training organisation with expertise in aspects of evidence collection, analysis, reporting and testimony.

  3. Social behaviour, ecology and conservation

    Our interest lies in the evolution of animal societies and the interactions that occur within these societies and their link to emotion, cognition and communication. We primarily study primates (including humans) but also other species including birds.   4. Student support schemes

    LJMU has introduced a new scheme to provide vouchers for students to buy laptops to support their studies. Students are also able to apply for support with the cost of their data allowance.

  5. Dr Scott Foster

    Scott is the PhD programme leader with responsibility for the doctoral students in our business school. Having followed a path into the miliary at just 16, gaining only one GCSE, Scott came to study for a degree at LJMU later in life, eventually gaining a PhD before becoming a member of staff and now inspiring others to follow in his footsteps.
