The Doctoral Academy is here to help you reach your full potential, by providing opportunities to enhance your research and transferable skills. Our Researcher Development Programme (RDP) is here to support you throughout your doctorate, from getting started with research, enhancing your personal effectiveness, through to engaging others and successfully communicating your work.

In addition to the RDP, you can connect with other doctoral researchers through a number of events throughout the year, including an annual PGR Festival. Our Conference Fund can help you gain experience of presenting at academic conferences, and our partnership with The Brilliant Club offers valuable teaching and outreach experience. Late stage researchers can also apply to take part in one of our residential Thesis Boot Camps.
