Exchange and study abroad students
Studying at LJMU as a partnership exchange student
As an exchange student at any of our exchange partners you are welcome to study abroad at LJMU for a semester or full academic year, but this is in accordance with the agreement we hold with your own university and the nomination they provide us with.
You will be supported by the Global Opportunities and your dedicated academic contact throughout your stay from application to returning home. As an exchange student you will not pay any tuition fees to LJMU but will receive the same benefits as our home students.
If you are unsure whether we have an exchange agreement with your university, please contact your own international office at your home institution.

Please note that we do not accept any free movers for exchange outside of the agreements we currently hold. If your home institution is not an exchange partner and you are interested in studying abroad at LJMU on a fee-paying basis then please contact goabroad@ljmu.ac.uk for information.
