1. Technicians survey 2024 now open

   The National Technician Development Centre (NTDC) Technicians Survey at LJMU is now open for responses until Friday 22 March.

2. New library services website launched

   The LJMU Library website has had a major refresh over summer and has launched this week ready for the new academic year.

3. £3,600 raised for charity in first week of NSS

   We have raised a fantastic £3,600 for charity during the first week of the National Student Survey 2020.

4. Law school run half marathon for Whitechapel Centre

   Eight students and staff from the School of Law laced up their trainers and ran the Liverpool half marathon on Sunday 27 March, in aid of local homeless and housing charity the Whitechapel Centre.

6. Email account improvements

   IT Services will soon be migrating staff email accounts to provide us with greater security, increased storage limits and easier accessibility.

7. Honorary Fellow: Ian Meadows

   Ian Meadows received an Honorary Fellowship from LJMU on Friday 28 November 2014 in recognition of his outstanding contribution to business and the civic life of the city.

8. The First British Astronaut - Helen Sharman CMG OBE Is Coming To LJMU!

   On 17th March 2021 Helen Sharman, the first British person in Space and first British Astronaut will give a talk at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU). Helen will be speaking about her life and career as a scientist and as the first British astronaut.

9. Gregory Lip honoured in US

   Professor Lip is close collaborator with the Faculty of Health, the School of Sport & Exercise Science and the School of Computing & Mathematics.
