Ever wondered what goes on in an Olympic athlete’s mind just before the start of a race? Or what an Olympic athlete's training schedule looks like? We caught up with LJMU Sport and Exercise Sciences Lecturer and Women’s 4x400m Relay Olympic Bronze medallist, Kelly Massey, to find out.

The second round of paid Discovery Internships this semester are open until midnight on Sunday 17 December 2023. Interviews will take place before the end of January 2024 and the internships will begin from early February 2024 (start dates may vary for each role).

LJMU Audio and Video Forensics Masters student and Music Producer, Brian Sheil was selected as a juror for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final, which was held in Malmo, Sweden, on Saturday 11 May.
LJMU is today celebrating success after receiving three prestigious awards including the national Times Higher Education (THE) Award for Outstanding Employer Initiative, beating off competition from other UK universities.
