   Marketing graduate Mark Russell has received a Duke of York Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

5. Young people benefit from LJMU residential

   LJMU Outreach has welcomed 25 young people from 12 schools across the North West to its annual Year 10 residential, targeted specifically at those in local authority or residential care.

6. International arts festival will launch the new Liverpool Fabric District

   An international festival of art, music and performance featuring world firsts will be taking place in May to celebrate the launch of the Fabric District in Liverpool.

7. Professional Services Conference and Awards 2017

   More than 250 delegates gathered for LJMU's third Professional Services Conference, with the theme ‘Working together to achieve results in an uncertain HE environment’.

9. LJMU joins Higher Education, Transnational Education (TNE) mission to Vietnam and Cambodia

   During the mission, LJMU were able to showcase their University offerings, meet with the UK Ambassador to Vietnam, Gareth Ward, and hold business to business meetings to ignite discussions surrounding the development of transnational education opportunities.
