1. New student complaints and appeals forms

   Student Complaints Forms and Appeals Forms are now available on the My LJMU Portal.

2. LJMU and JMSU launch Respect Always

   Today marks the launch of Respect, Always!, a collaboration between LJMU and JMSU which aims to get to the heart of what ‘respect’ means to us all as individuals and to collectively recognise this across the university.

3. Students visit textiles and life conference

   MA Fashion Innovation and Realisation students: Joshua Marriott, Macarena Morilla Dominguez and Courtney Hammond presented research posters based on their MA proposals.

4. Developing your leadership and management skills

   A new suite of workshops and support has been launched to help you develop your leadership and management skills.

5. New performance review and development system

   Following a successful pilot scheme, from next week all staff will be able to access a brand new system to take ownership of their development and objective.

6. Academic Registry Roadshows February and March

   The Student Governance Team will deliver the next roadshow on Friday 24 February, Redmonds Building 2.33 and Registry Services will deliver a session on Tuesday 7 March, SLB 3.02.

   As we celebrate our Bicentenary this year, we are celebrating the Humans of LJMU who make our city, communities and university the vibrant, inclusive place that it is.

8. New professors and readers at LJMU

   Dozens of LJMU staff are celebrating after becoming professors and readers following our rigorous conferment process.

9. Apprenticeships and Student Governance policy updates

   The new Apprenticeships Policy has received Academic Board approval and 20 Student Governance policies, guidance and pro forma have recently been reviewed, and have received minor amendments.
