  1. UK Malaysia University Partnership Grants

    The British Council Malaysia provide seed-funding to UK-MUC Members in the form of UK-Malaysia University Partnership Grants, with the aim of facilitating collaborations among UK and Malaysian institutions in key areas of priority.

  2. Diagnostics and Therapeutics

    The Diagnostics and Therapeutics Research Group is focussed on delivering solutions to 21st century healthcare challenges related to cancer therapy, tissue repair, neurodegenerative disorders and respiratory diseases through chemistry, molecular bioscience and nanomedicine.

  3. FTDP scholarship funding

    Each scholarship funding is for three years of a full-time PhD degree programme, and includes tuition fees, a tax-free maintenance stipend of around £18,622 per annum (rising in line with URKI rates) and additional research costs of up to £1,600 per year.

  5. Jamie Christon DL

    Jamie Christon is the Chief Executive of Chester Zoo and was chosen as one of 10 new honorary fellows during LJMU’s Bicentenary year. The honour reflects his work driving forward conservation at the zoo, preventing extinction in a changing world, and working collaboratively with organisations, partners, and visitors.
