1. Black History Month 2021

3. July is Disability Pride Month

   July marks the celebration of Disability Pride month. An opportunity to raise awareness and have positive conversations about disability in study and the workplace.

4. Reserves Day and Armed Forces Day 2024

   LJMU is recognising both days this June as part of its continued pledge under the Armed Forces Covenant.

5. Discovery Internships for level 5 and 6 students open for applications

   The second round of paid Discovery Internships this semester are open until midnight on Sunday 17 December 2023. Interviews will take place before the end of January 2024 and the internships will begin from early February 2024 (start dates may vary for each role).

6. LJMU celebrate Chemistry Week with neurodiverse learners

   Staff and students from across Outreach, Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies and Faculty of Science joined forces with neurodiverse learners to celebrate Chemistry Week 2023.

7. Inter Faith Week 2023

   Four new student officers are now in post for the 2024/2025 academic year to represent the 27,000 students at LJMU.

   Applications for the ‘Nia’ development programme 2023 are now open to ethnically diverse staff at LJMU.

10. LJMU Marks National Inclusion Week (2020)

    National Inclusion Week runs from the 28th Sep - 4th Oct 2020 and gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to inclusion in and outside of the LJMU community.
