    The Human Identification Network specialises in the identification of living and deceased humans through biometrics, behavioural patterns, genomics, bioanthropology, trace elements and craniofacial anthropology.

  5. Rat Island

    Face Lab produced a 3D facial depiction of a 19th Century adult male from skeletal remains recovered during rescue excavations on Rat Island, Gosport near Portsmouth.

  6. Environmental Monitoring and Control

    The Environmental Monitoring and Control research theme is focused on addressing global challenges and sustainable development goals related to quality monitoring systems for sustainable agriculture, novel technologies for good health and well-being monitoring, sustainable management, and quality monitoring of water resources.

  7. Novel and Bio-based Materials

    The Novel and Bio-Based Materials Research Group are involved in civil engineering and infrastructure construction materials, sustainable pavement engineering and asphalt technology, cement and concrete research, ceramic materials and more.
