1. Wishing trees planted across campus

   The university has planted a number of wishing trees across its campuses as part of its commitment to the environment and sustainability.

   An international festival of art, music and performance featuring world firsts will be taking place in May to celebrate the launch of the Fabric District in Liverpool.

   Singsongs, card games and radio shows would not normally be part of a History degree unless you are lucky enough to be taught by lecturer Lucinda Matthews-Jones, that is.

4. PCC praises LJMU for raising awareness of domestic abuse support

   LJMU are signed up to the Domestic Abuse Workplace Scheme, led by the Police and Crime Commissioner's office, and more workplace champions are being sought.

5. Changes in Core Café opening times: Tuesday 31 October

   Due to the passing of one of LJMU’s much loved catering team members, there will be several changes to Core Café opening hours across the day on Tuesday 31 October

   Students can apply for a free laptop or recycled IT kit through the IT support schemes.

   Liverpool Business School has won Business School of the Year at the Educate North Awards 2025.
