1. Part-time job opportunity for students and graduates

   LJMU students and graduates are invited to apply for positions in a team of marshals helping to keep our buildings COVID-safe in the new academic year.

3. Art and Design students travel the world

   The annual Susan Cotton and Sue Dunthorne Travel awards are open to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the school, designed to enhance students personal and career development through travel and impactful experiences. Successful applicants for the Susan Cotton Awards receive a budget of £1500 to spend on the trip of a life to their choice of destinations, while the Sue Dunthorne Travel Bursary is an award of £500 to travel anywhere in the UK or overseas.

   After struggling with his own mental health issues, LJMU graduate Philip Bridges was determined to help others access free support that works

5. LJMU leads the way with first campus-wide free period products in England

   Liverpool John Moores University Students’ Union (JMSU) and Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) have joined forces to tackle the issue of period poverty.

6. Students secure silver prize in global design-build competition

   The LJMU team joined forces with students from Auburn University, Alabama, to come second in the Design-Build International category at the Associated Schools of Construction event in Texas.

7. Happy Diwali!

   Diwali is an annual five-day festival of lights celebrated during the Hindu month of Kartika. In the spirit of celebration, let us all get involved with the brilliant array of events occurring during this period in Liverpool, in neighbouring cities and even virtually. Happy Diwali everyone!

8. Accolades for students at Graduate Fashion Week

   BA Fashion Design and Communication students have been making their mark in the fashion industry with their collections at Graduate Fashion Week. A fantastic number of students were shortlisted for prestigious awards and two won their categories.
