   The Secretariat is now seeking expressions of interest from eligible LJMU staff to serve on the Academic Board and to take up their roles in September.

5. LJMU students help the global fight against pneumonia

   Over 300 undergraduate and postgraduate LJMU students have registered their interest in clinical trials at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicines Accelerator Research Clinic (ARC) with many LJMU students having already taken part in a study.

6. Exclusive to LJMU – part-time or summer student internships and graduate placements available now

   An exciting range of part-time or summer internships are available for current students to apply for now, along with a host of graduate placements for LJMU graduates who left the University from 2020 onwards.

7. Aspiring Leaders from BAME Communities Informal Networking Event

   On Thursday 14th November 2019  (12.30pm  – 3.30pm), Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) will host a BAME into Leadership network event in partnership with BME Leadership Network (BLN) and Parrett Laver a recruitment company that assist HEIs with recruiting top level positions.
