   LJMU is offering final year undergraduate students (level 6) the opportunity to apply for a paid 'Grad Edition’ Discovery Internship working with a local organisation in the Liverpool City Region.

   Applications to study abroad are now open for a semester or academic year in 2025/26

5. Armistice Day 2024 arrangements

   We will mark Armistice Day by observing a two-minute silence at 11am on Monday 11 November.

6. Donate to support homeless people this winter

   A local community organisation run by one of our academic staff is appealing for donations to support homeless people this winter.

7. British Science Week: "Believe in your dreams"

   LJMU welcomed more than 100 girls from schools across the Liverpool City Region for a Making Space event to mark British Science Week.

8. Nautical Science graduate Antarctic bound

   LJMU Nautical Science graduate Robert Bellis has been named Maritime & Coastguard Agency Trainee Officer of the Year 2016, receiving his award from Shipping Minister John Hayes MP.

9. Chemistry for All

   The exclusive Liverpool John Moores University outreach project funded by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) has completed its first successful year.
