Building maintenance update

We have entered a new partnership with an award-winning contractor to maintain your facilities across the university.

When you log a repair, maintenance request or report any other buildings issue on campus, it will now be picked up by our partners the Salisbury Group.

If you spot any building issues on campus – whether it’s a light bulb that needs replacing or a window that won’t open – please make sure you report it. If we don’t know there’s a problem, we can’t fix it.

Reporting such issues is completely straight forward. As you will know from previous communications, we have recently launched a new user-friendly Estate and Facilities Management Helpdesk, Invida.

Logging a ticket is very simple. You just need to:

  • Visit here and log in with your LJMU email and password. Select ‘single sign-on’ and add the necessary information about your request.
  • Or choose ‘Estates Helpdesk’ from the Help Me portal which is available on the staff pages and via your desktop.

If you have any questions, please do get in touch via email or by ringing 0151 231 5555 (Option 2).
