A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a government-funded scheme which enables an organisation to collaborate with a university and recent graduate on a strategic innovation project to improve competitiveness, productivity and performance.

By taking part in a KTP, you can use LJMU’s knowledge, technology and skills to develop new products, services or strategic change to promote growth within your organisation. Private sector UK-based businesses of any size can participate in a KTP.

Benefits for the business

• KTP projects are part-funded by Innovate UK.
• A high-calibre graduate (the “associate”) employed by LJMU will provide day-to-day delivery of the project in your organisation.
• An academic will supervise the project for half a day per week to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
