Join the LJMU gym

For the second year running students and staff can join the LJMU gym at a reduced cost. 

Gym memberships are just £25 for students and £40 for staff, for the whole academic year

Memberships will run from 1 September 2023 to 31 August 2024 and are paid in a one-off annual payment upon joining.   

This is the second-year gym memberships have been significantly reduced, as part of LJMU’s support for students’ and staffs’ wellbeing, as well as support financially, during the cost-of-living crisis.

Sport and Physical Activity Department Open Day 

For those wanting to find out more about sport and physical activity at LJMU, the Sport and Physical Activity Department will be hosting an open day this September. 

Visit the LJMU Sport Building on Wednesday 20 September, from 1pm to 5pm, for an open day event covering everything sport and ‘getting active’ related. 

See the state-of-the-art facilities, meet the team, try a new sport and learn about how you can get involved in ActiveLJMU programmes. And of course, sign-up for that gym membership!
