Dr. Bukola Fatokun is a Lecturer in International Business Management within Liverpool Business School. Bukola teaches on the MSc Management programmes and she is passionate about technology acceptance, e-commerce, customers' emotional responses to innovation, consumer behaviour and developing economies. In December 2024, Bukola was delighted for the recognition and the commendation received for the Vice Chancellor's Award of Excellence - Rising Star (Research and Knowledge Exchange). Earlier in the same year, she was shortlisted and recognised for the Students Experience Awards (SEAs) in the category of Outstanding Postgraduate Teaching Support by her students, through the Liverpool John Moores Students' Union (JMSU).
Bukola has worked and lived in four continents namely, Africa, Europe, North America and Australasia, with relevant experiences as an Admin Associate for charitable organisations in the US and the UK. Bukola holds a PhD in Business Management, from Liverpool John Moores University, and also her MSc in Management and Digital Business with an Award for Excellence from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). She is also a member of the Postgraduate Management Team. She teaches postgraduate modules Management Theory and Management Practice. She is currently module leading Managing Business Research (PG). She is experienced in Innovation and Business Creativity, The Digital Economy (TDE) and Digital Business Management for UG.
In addition to her teaching and learning interests, Bukola is research active and has extensive experience in the areas of postgraduate student support and research methods. She currently supervises MSc research projects, and looks for opportunities to supervise PhD candidates with similar interests.
Bukola is an Associate Fellow of Advance Higher Education Academy. She earned a Supporting Learning Award from the Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA) in conjunction with the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF). She is also an author, and has volunteered for NGOs including Digital Inclusion Tutor for Include-IT Mersey.

Remaining Resilient in Challenging Times (Inter-institutional Postgraduate Event), Online Event/Meeting, Keynote Speaker: Presented to postgraduate women from various institutions and backgrounds on resilience and why it matters, especially for women with many "hats".
