Welcome to the Faculty of Health’s Innovation in Digital Education, Assessment and Simulation in the Faculty of Health (IDEAS) website. This site is for anyone interested in exploring new ideas and developments in digital education and simulation.
During her long career with LJMU, Pat was recognised nationally and internationally as an innovator who was progressive, courageous, and determined to enhance the life chances of young people. Up until her retirement in 2010 she was at the forefront of teacher education, schools, and community engagement; all with lasting legacies to this day.

The Professional Midwifery Advocate education programme aims to prepare registered midwives to achieve the standards and competencies required to successfully undertake the role of the Professional Midwifery Advocate (PMA).
We identified that our priorities for development involve consolidating some areas, promoting some SDGs which are not typically present in our work, and influencing wider strategy within the institution. Our final goal is about embedding PRME into our strategic management practices.
