1. How to find and access defibrillators across campus

   We have 60 on campus which anyone can access and use in the event of an emergency.

2. New performance review and development system

   Following a successful pilot scheme, from next week all staff will be able to access a brand new system to take ownership of their development and objective.

3. Admissions Policy update

   The LJMU Admissions Policy has recently undergone some minor amendments and the updated version can be found in the Policy Centre.

4. Academic Registry Roadshows February and March

   The Student Governance Team will deliver the next roadshow on Friday 24 February, Redmonds Building 2.33 and Registry Services will deliver a session on Tuesday 7 March, SLB 3.02.

5. Academic Framework Regulations updates for new academic year

   Two policies have been updated, one for undergraduate and one for postgraduate programmes.

6. New Forensic Research Institute launched

   LJMU has launched a new Forensic Research Institute (FORRI) to support and enhance the criminal justice system.

7. Take charge of your pension

   This Pension Awareness Week (11-15 September) access free, impartial, and straightforward pension information, as well as a series of live sessions.

   More than 200 students undergo practical training to deliver Playlist For Life treatment in care settings

9. Academic Board election voting now open

   Staff have until 5pm on Thursday 14 September to vote for their preferred Academic Board candidates.

10. Bicentenary year gets underway
