6. Critically Thinking About Race, Religion and Belief/Non Belief

   LJMU invited speakers from different backgrounds to discuss their views on the issues that are still apparent in today’s society. The conference, Critically Thinking About Race, Religion and Belief/Non Belief was presented to a packed lecture theatre of academics, students and professionals.

7. Sport Science in action for BBC Sport Relief

   Professor Greg Whyte OBE took time out from supporting Zoe Ball’s Hardest Road Home Challenge for Sport Relief 2018, to talk about how sport and exercise science is playing a key role.

8. Computer scientists trial rapid information system at Merseyrail stations

   Merseyrail staff will be the first in the country to have delay updates in the palm of their hand.

9. Big sporting names to visit LJMU ahead of Randox Health Grand National

   Feel the excitement of the Randox Health Grand National early this year, at Randox Health Week in association with Liverpool John Moores University and Liverpool Hope University.

10. Complete the Student Lifestyle and Health Survey 2024

    Each year we run this survey, it only takes 10 minutes to complete and asks you a range of questions from how much sleep you get, to if you get anxious and how often you feel stressed.
