   As an Armed Forces friendly organisation, LJMU has introduced new measures to better support veterans, reservists and their partners who work for the university, or who may look to join the institution in the future.

7. Liverpool School of Art and Design will host its first art-science showcase after being awarded prestigious Leonardo LASER status

   The first LASER session will focus on the theme of faces and identity with presentations on facial skin growth, forensic art and cosmetic surgery.

8. 'Reverse Big Ideas' on Policing, Criminalisation and the Community

   40 speakers and guests attended an event in LJMU’s Education Building last week to discuss the themes of policing, community and criminal justice.
