3. Dr Susanne Zajitschek

   Dr Susanne Zajitschek is a rising star within our School of Biological and Environmental Sciences, having been recognised for her impact on the student learning experience and her leadership potential in teaching and learning. Joining at the onset of the pandemic in 2020, Susanne has made a big impact at LJMU in just a short period of time.

5. John Entwistle OBE

   Read the oration for John Entwistle OBE on the award of their Honorary Fellowship from Liverpool John Moores University presented by Professor Frank Sanderson.

6. Think Aloud

   Dr Amy Whitehead initially used and developed ‘Think Aloud’ as part of her PhD, looking at how Golfers make decisions. This led her to develop a course which supports sports coaches development, which was initially funded by LJMU, and delivered to a number of coaches at St Helens Rugby League Club.

7. Joanne Brunnen

   Jo is a finance officer and in 2023 celebrated 35 years of working for LJMU. She’s worked across many different departments during her career, and as the university has evolved. During more than three decades of dedicated work, Jo has made lasting friendships along the way and even met her husband here too.

8. CPD Practice Education for Paramedics

   This CPD course is designed to enable Paramedics working in a variety of settings to develop person-centred and reflective approaches to supporting and assessing learning in practice.

9. The effectiveness and acceptability of Suicide Postvention Liaison Services for Individuals Bereaved by Suicide

   This study aims to interview people supported by these services, the employees delivering this support, commissioners and key wider services who may have links to the services, including coroners, police, GPs and public health officials.
