   HIV services and prevention work within the North West of England utilise the Public Health Institute's interactive tools, databases, and intelligence work. We offer assistance through evaluations and research into: contraception, teenage pregnancy, STDs, young people's health. 9. Forensic Research Institute (FORRI)

   The Forensic Research Institute is a research and training organisation with expertise in aspects of evidence collection, analysis, reporting and testimony. We have a proven track record of impact in assisting criminal justice agencies in crime-prevention, police work, the preparation of cases, victim identification, victim and witness support and much more.

10. Public and Patient Involvement and Engagement

    Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement or ‘PPIE’ has become a wide-spread phenomenon in health and social care research. PPIE is considered the gold standard of research and is typically required by funding bodies (such as the NIHR) to access grant funding.
