    The School of Justice Studies are engaged in work that encompasses three disciplines: Criminology, Criminal Justice and Policing Studies. Our aspirations as a School are to create just outcomes for individuals and our broader commitment to the creation of a just society.

    Writing for a nursing journal is a great way to advance your nursing career, get your voice heard, and share your particular nursing perspective on topics important to you, use our online toolkit to aid co-publishing within peer review journals.

  5. Honorary fellows 2023

    During our bicentenary year, we honoured ten new fellows at a memorable event at St George’s Hall.

  6. Mike McCartney

    Read the oration for Mike McCartney on the award of their Honorary Fellowship from Liverpool John Moores University presented by Professor Frank Sanderson.

  7. Nickianne Moody

    Nickianne worked at LJMU for just short of 30 years, teaching on and then leading the university’s Media and Cultural Studies provision. Sadly, she died in 2019 following a period of illness, leaving behind a multitude of memories and legacies for students and academics alike.

  8. Ami Hopkins

    Ami is an engineer with a passion for sailing. She is a graduate of the university’s BSc (Hons) Product Innovation and Development programme and has since gone on to make history as a member of the first all-female team to win an around the world yacht race on the Maiden yacht.
