1. Academic Registry Roadshows February and March

   The Student Governance Team will deliver the next roadshow on Friday 24 February, Redmonds Building 2.33 and Registry Services will deliver a session on Tuesday 7 March, SLB 3.02.

2. April/May exam timetable now live

   The next assessment period for LJMU students will take place from Monday 22 April to Friday 3 May 2024 (inclusive).

3. Immersive museum performances by LJMU drama students to uncover the 'Secret Life of a Wren'

   With the Battle of the Atlantic 80th anniversary just weeks away, our drama students are collaborating once again with the Western Approaches Museum. See their immersive performance at the museum on Monday 27 March 2023.

4. Professorship, readership

   The Professorship and Readership Conferment process for 2023 is now open.

5. New hospitality ordering system

   LJMU’s Catering service will shortly introduce a brand new customer-friendly online ordering system for hospitality.

6. Scholarships for new students starting September 2024

   Every year we award a range of scholarships from £1,000 to £5,000 that don't need to be paid back!

7. Menopause cafe to mark World Menopause Day

   Join us on Wednesday 18 October as we mark World Menopause Day and host our final staff cafe of the year.

8. Honorary Fellow Dr Larry DeNardis

   Liverpool John Moores University awards Honorary Fellowship to Dr Larry DeNardis at Liverpool Cathedral on Wednesday 12 July 2017.

9. UKRI open access policy changes from 1 January 2024

   The open access policy applies to monographs, book chapters and edited collections associated with UKRI funding published from 1 January 2024.

10. In memoriam: Lady Grantchester

    It is with great sadness that the university marks the passing of Lady Grantchester, Honorary Fellow, and eldest daughter of the university namesake the late Sir John Moores.
