4. Sport and Exercise Science study highlights the health benefits of a Home-HIT routine

   A new study investigating a home-based, high-intensity interval training regimen was recently carried out by LJMU’s Research Institute for Sport and Exercise Sciences and has now been published in The Journal of Physiology.

5. How AR technology could transform flood risk understanding and build resilience in the face of climate change

   Communities affected by flooding, and agencies responsible for managing flood risk, have had a first look at new Augmented Reality (AR) technology which shows the extent of future flood risk in their neighbourhoods.

   First UK study to look at psychological birth trauma and long-term effects on coping with drink

8. Librarian recognised by national Library Association

   Academic Engagement Librarian Gemma Wright has been recognised by CILIP, The Library and Information Association, as an outstanding professional helping to lead the sector into a new age of information.

9. Professorship and Readership Conferment: Call for submissions

   Each year applications are invited for the conferment of Professorships and Readerships and the process for 2021 is now open
