   The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for students, academics, and practitioners to connect and share knowledge to create, promote, and lead change for women and girls across all facets of sport.

5. Gordon Millar

   Gordon plays a key role in Liverpool’s lively theatre scene as the Artistic Director and CEO of Unity Theatre, a venue that started life in the 1930s and continues to explore current societal matters through its performances. As an LJMU drama alum, he continues to support current students who were once in his shoes and is proud to have many new graduates working at Unity today.

6. Global Summer Schools

   Together with our partner universities around the world LJMU are offering our students the exciting opportunity to take part in one of our international Better Futures Summer Schools. 7. UK Malaysia University Consortium: Inaugural Student Conference

   Over five days, students from across the UK and Malaysia will come together at the Universiti Malaya to discuss issues and identify solutions based around United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Equality in Higher Education.

10. Information for LGBTQIA+ students

    We recognise that some students who identify as LGBTQIA+ would prefer to live with other LGBTQIA+ students. We can offer the choice of a limited number of en-suite flats with this preference should you wish to select it.
