1. Peter's tweets unite global therapy community

   A lecturer who built links among therapists and counsellors on Twitter has been recognised for his efforts with a national award.

2. MA WRITING students offer short and powerful insights into life in Liverpool

   Liverpool 500 was part of the LJMU MA Writing program and has been shared with Liverpool in Australia a collaboration which forms part of LJMUs Liverpool 2 Liverpool project with University of Wollongongs Liverpool Campus in Sydney.

3. Students visit textiles and life conference

   MA Fashion Innovation and Realisation students: Joshua Marriott, Macarena Morilla Dominguez and Courtney Hammond presented research posters based on their MA proposals.

4. MA Student shortlisted for ‘Tourism Young Person of the Year’

   LJMU student Victoria Smith, 24 was shortlisted for the Tourism Young Person of the Year award at this years Liverpool City Region Tourist Awards 2022. The awards, that took place at Liverpool Cathedral, saw businesses and guests from across Liverpool celebrating the city regions tourism sector.

5. MA Art in Science students exhibit works at Glastonbury's first art-science exhibition

   Ten Liverpool School of Art and Design students and graduates showcased their work in the Green Futures Field at Glastonbury festival.

6. Students given unique insight into production of BBC Radio Merseyside’s longest running programme

   LJMU's MA Mass Communications students went behind the scenes at BBC Radio Merseyside for a studio tour, followed by an 'in conversation' event with Mike Brocken, presenter of Folkscene, Radio Merseyside's longest running programme.

7. Art and Science Exchange

   On Tuesday 27th & Wednesday 28th August 2019, the MA Art in Science programme at Liverpool School of Art and Design hosted an Art & Science Exchange workshop with members of the Biochemical Society. The exchange was held at the John Lennon Art and Design Building, in the Public Exhibition Space and X-Gallery amongst the MA Art in Science student's end of programme postgraduate exhibition, which showcases the outcomes of their three month research projects. These projects served as a basis for investigation of specific art-science interactions, and were supported by open discussions, hands on activities and a Liverpool LASER talk.

8. Masters in Art and Design Degree Show: Class of 2020 show their enterprise

   Around 40 students will exhibit their ideas from MA courses in Fine Art, Graphic Art and Illustration, Art in Science, Fashion Innovation and Realisation and Exhibition Studies.

9. Students learn traditional techniques to create sustainable fabrics and garments

   Throughout the academic year more than 120 undergraduate, MA and PhD students from a range of disciplines across the Liverpool School of Art and Design have learnt a variety of traditional skills from leatherwork to weaving.

10. Curator joins LJMU for curating the web research project

    Curator joins LJMU's School of Art and Design Exhibition Research Lab for a 12 month research project.
