   The department of Media, Culture, Communication in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences has established a new initiative to create space for students to socialise and support their wellbeing.

6. LJMU launches 'eco houses' to help reduce carbon emissions from UK housing stock

   First purpose-built, multi-unit housing test facility in the North will be used by innovation and construction SMEs to address sustainability challenges of homes built over the last 100 years.

8. Prestigious Bollywood Director hosts Liverpool film screening with LJMU

   Bollywood Director, Ms Kiran Rao hosted a special screening of recent hit move Laapataa Ladies (2024) in Liverpool with LJMU.

9. Workshops for researchers now available to book for 2024

   Further workshops will take place throughout 2024 aimed at researchers and postgraduate researchers (PGRs) to enhance how they manage their research data.
