2. Bambis Breastfeeding Friendly Charter

   LJMU was awarded the Liverpool Bambis Breastfeeding Friendly Mayoral Award in June 2022. The award recognises commitment to supporting staff, students and visitors who are breastfeeding their children to feel welcome to do so across campus buildings.

3. Contexts of human evolution

   Research within the Contexts of Human Evolution Group involves archaeological, palaeontological and environmental analyses of human evolution. Our research focuses on mammalian evolution, hominin behaviour and ecology, and patterns of faunal and floral distribution. 4. Professor Pat Shenton OBE (1945-2021)

   During her long career with LJMU, Pat was recognised nationally and internationally as an innovator who was progressive, courageous, and determined to enhance the life chances of young people. Up until her retirement in 2010 she was at the forefront of teacher education, schools, and community engagement; all with lasting legacies to this day.

6. Practice Learning Support Unit

   The Practice Learning Support Unit (PLSU) are responsible for allocating practice placements to the School of Nursing and Allied Health students. If you are a student or a practice partner, this section provides a wealth of information to help you during the placement process.

7. CPD Masters Certificate of Professional Development in Independent Prescribing for Pharmacists

   This CPD course will provide the skills and knowledge required to ensure safe and effective practice as an independent prescriber.
