    Our research is applicable to clinical and sport and exercise biomechanics. Our focus includes: musculo-skeletal growth and development, gait analysis, virtual rehabilitation, postural stability, footwear biomechanics, and artificial neural networks.

    Researchers in the Centre in Evolutionary Anthropology and Palaeoecology have used drones for the conservation of habitats, discovered how Neolithic agriculture spread, and uncovered the earliest evidence of hunting - to point out just a few of our achievements.     Researchers from the Microelectronics Research Group are investigating new technologies and materials. Members from the Group are also exploring ‘show-stoppers’ for optimizing digital/analogue circuits.
