1. Academic Staff Governor vacancy

   The Secretariat is now seeking expressions of interest from eligible candidates for the position of Academic Staff Governor to serve on the Board of Governors.

2. Academic Staff Governor Elections

   Following the call for nominations, eight candidates are standing for election, with the election period opening on Monday 5 June and running until Monday 19 June.

3. Professional Services Staff Governor Elections

   Five candidates have put themselves forwards for the position and voting will take place between Monday 13 and 27 March.

4. Staff Governor voting now open

   All Professional Services staff have until 5pm on Monday 27 March to vote for their preferred Staff Governor candidate.

5. Free winter flu jabs for staff

   As part of our employee wellbeing focus, we are again offering staff a voucher for a free winter flu jab.

6. LJMU Staff Networks move to Teams

   From this month the process to join a staff network has moved to the LJMU website and Microsoft Teams, making it even easier to join one of LJMU’s staff networks

   Did you know that you can add additional security around viewing and changing your bank details in Staff Infobase?

8. Your new Academic Staff Governor Caroline Wilkinson

   Following a fortnight-long election period, Caroline received the majority of votes out of the eight self-nominated candidates and will now serve on the Board for the next three years.

10. LJMU funded bootcamp programme for staff
