3. Student Spotlight: Mike Lynn

   This week we introduce Mike Lynn, a recent LJMU postgraduate who is working closely with organisations such as Joshua Tree and Alderhey hospital to try to fight for improvements in cancer after care nutrition and exercise in paediatric patients.

4. LJMU Library launches new reading corner

   LJMU Library has developed a new children's reading corner, providing access to a collection of children's books. This new space provides a fun and relaxed reading area for use by students, staff, local teachers and school children.

5. The War Widows Quilt to be displayed on Armed Forces Day in Liverpool

   On Saturday 24 June 2023, in honour of Armed Forces Day, St George’s Hall will host a special exhibition of the War Widows Quilt, part of the War Widows Stories project led by LJMU academic Dr Nadine Muller.

6. New Pavilion now open

   Your fantastic new Pavilion at Aldham Robarts Library is now open.

7. Queen's New Year's Honours for LJMU Honorary Fellows

   Six LJMU Honorary Fellows have been recognised in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours list 2017.

8. LJMU is one of 24 universities with Race Equality Charter Bronze Award

   Liverpool John Moores University has been awarded Bronze status by Advance HE's Race Equality Charter (REC)
