She had, at times, a challenging experience at university, discovering she had dyslexia and a degenerative condition that impacted on her memory and conversation. But she showed resilience, courage and determination, with support from her family and LJMU, to successfully complete her studies.

Dr Lynch has been part of the fabric of the university for over 50 years, as a student, as a lecturer, as the Liaison Judge for the School of Law, as an Honorary Fellow, a mature student and Visiting Research Fellow.
