4. School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences

   The School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences provides excellent teaching and innovative research across biochemistry, forensic science, pharmacy, biomedical science, virology, drug discovery, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.

5. Physical Literacy staff

   This project aims to create a universal definition of physical literacy in England to hopefully catalyse efforts to adopt, support and promote physical literacy in practice.

6. Care experienced and estranged students – accommodation

   We want all students to feel at home in any accommodation at LJMU and are committed to working with our accommodation partners to ensure our halls are accessible to all.

7. CPD Practice Education for Paramedics

   This CPD course is designed to enable Paramedics working in a variety of settings to develop person-centred and reflective approaches to supporting and assessing learning in practice.

8. Dr Will Swaney

   Will is an award-winning lecturer in our School of Biological and Environmental Sciences. He has been able to use technology to transform student learning.

9. Intelligence and surveillance

   The Public Health Institute's data collection and monitoring systems support public health reporting. Our surveillance systems include: Integrated Monitoring System, Trauma and Injury Intelligence Group, HIV Surveillance and the Drug Interventions Programme.

10. FTDP scholarship funding

    Each scholarship funding is for three years of a full-time PhD degree programme, and includes tuition fees, a tax-free maintenance stipend of around £18,622 per annum (rising in line with URKI rates) and additional research costs of up to £1,600 per year.
