1. Graduate Tutor Trainees join Positive Action Programme

   Six Graduate Tutor Trainees have begun a four-year programme at LJMU to gain invaluable teaching experience and strengthen the university's representation of Ethnically Diverse staff.

   Over 110 LJMU Scholars, Honorary fellows and alumni came together at a special event in London’s historic Middle Temple last night, hosted by LJMU Chancellor and Honorary Fellow, Sir Brian Leveson.

4. Reciprocal Mentoring Programme involving BAME Staff, Black Students and Senior Leaders

   Given the success of last year's pilot, we are running the LJMU Reciprocal Mentoring Programme again and we are extending it to include BAME staff from across the institution. The programme is open to all LJMU Senior Staff from Director Level of non BAME Background and to BAME staff from non-Director Level and to Black Students from all Faculties.

5. Advance HE Aurora Programme final days to apply

   LJMU staff are reminded that the application deadline for the Advance HE Aurora Programme, a leadership development initiative for women, is Friday 4 November 2022.

6. Representatives wanted for programme review

   LJMU is looking to recruit chair and university panel representatives for the validation and periodic programme review 2024-25.
