The School of Biological and Environmental Sciences provides excellent teaching and extensive research across the biological sciences and geography and environmental sciences.
Robyn joined LJMU in 2017 and is Programme Leader and Principal Lecturer for Logistics and Maritime programmes with our Faulty of Engineering and Technology. In 2024 she became Associate Dean for Global Engagement, responsible for collaborative provision and international partnerships for the faculty.
Julie Sheldon is the Dean of LJMU's Doctoral Academy.
Phil has worked at LJMU for over 16 years. He’s currently the Student Inclusion Lead within the Student Advice and Wellbeing Team and has recently started a new role as Diversity and Inclusion Associate Dean for Professional Services. Since 2010, Phil has also led on organising and representing LJMU at the annual Liverpool Pride March.
Professor Roger Webster is the former Executive Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies and Professor of Literary Studies at the university. He was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by LJMU in 2017 for his outstanding contribution to arts and cultural education. He brought together a book on the origins and history of LJMU, released in 2017 for the university’s 25th anniversary.

Olatunde has been a member of staff within our business school for nearly a decade and most recently took on the role of Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion within our Faculty of Business and Law, ensuring students and staff are provided equity of opportunity to achieve whatever they aspire.
The purpose of the Being Lean and Seen project is to advance project management knowledge with the end goal of helping people deliver successful projects.
