1. Research within the School of Engineering

   The School of Engineering conduct a range of research. Discover more about the expertise within the School.

2. Biomechanics Research Group

   Our research is applicable to clinical and sport and exercise biomechanics. Our focus includes: musculo-skeletal growth and development, gait analysis, virtual rehabilitation, postural stability, footwear biomechanics, and artificial neural networks.

3. Astronomical Technology

   The Astronomical Technology Group is interested in optical and near-IR observations and the technology that facilitates them. Activities of the group include the operation of the robotic Liverpool Telescope and the development of its 4 metre successor.

5. Razvan Neagoe

   Razvan embraced university life during his policing studies degree, having moved to the UK from Romania and being inspired by a coffee shop customer to work in the world of policing. He was a Student Advocate, supporting others to get into higher education and will now go on to serve with Merseyside Police taking his learned experience, and compassion for others, into his career.

6. Visions of the Future – Teaching and Learning Conference Presentation 2017

   This fun session looked at a handful of big ideas making waves in the digital realm outside of education.

7. David Molyneux

8. CPD Violence Prevention Reduction and Public Health

   This programme aims to provide learners with the public health skills and knowledge to devise, plan and implement a violence reduction project in the workplace or community.
