1. Menopause cafes to take place in person throughout 2023

   To keep conversations moving forward around the menopause, dates in January, April, July and October 2023 have been set for the next four menopause cafes.

   LJMU’s is one of six universities, John Schofield Trust (JST) has partnered with to offer 1-2-1 mentoring to undergraduate journalism students.

3. Over 200 students graduate at LJMU partner college in Malaysia

   262 students have graduated from YPC International College, one of LJMU’s long term academic partners, at a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

   Staff and students gathered around for festive activities and to appreciate staff rewarded for work above and beyond their normal duties.

   Personal reflections on our great city of Liverpool underpin a new suite of portraits of the Vice-Chancellor and the Executive Leadership Team.

6. US soccer sport scientist shares insight from across the pond

   LJMU graduate, doctoral researcher and US Soccer sport scientist Patrick Mannix shared his expert insight with students as he returned to his educational roots in the city.

7. Demonstrating technology in action to stimulate ideas among SMEs

   Engineering and technology experts proved that ‘demonstration is key to stimulating ideas’ as they invited businesses from across Cheshire and Warrington onto campus to see research, simulation and innovation facilities.

8. New date for staff event raising awareness of domestic abuse support

   Staff are invited to an event on Wednesday 14 December from 10am to 11am at Exchange Station (Room 1 & 2), where they can find out more about how we're supporting those impacted by domestic abuse.

9. Staff Qualifications and Health and Safety policy updates

   A number of LJMU staff policies have been updated.
