   We are delighted to confirm the return of our ever-popular Roscoe Lecture Series, in this our special bicentenary year. There will be three Roscoe lectures in 2023 in March, May and October.

   Meet Muhammad, Becky, Charlotte, and Justin, LJMU students who share their Discovery Internship story, where they balanced study and hands-on experience.

3. Christmas closure and support services over the festive break

   The university will close at 5pm on Thursday 23 December and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 4 January. The Student Life Building will be open 24/7 throughout the festive break including on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

4. Meet the electric Formula Student team heading to Silverstone this summer

   Intrepid engineering students are hoping to race LJMUs first electric racing car around the world-famous Formula 1 track in July.

5. Developing the diverse workforce of the future for engineering and technology

   LJMU hosted events with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers exploring diversity and inclusion in engineering and technology skills.

6. Work with LJMU Marketing

   LJMU Marketing Services are on the lookout for students to feature in our print and online marketing materials and work alongside us to help produce social media content - to promote the university and Liverpool.

7. LJMU’s Football Exchange given spotlight at football industry awards

   Members from LJMU’s world-class Football Exchange shared their vision and insights on science and football research with their peers as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards.

8. North West Higher Education Action Learning Programme

   LJMU are offering up to ten places for women working in academic and professional services roles to take part in cross institutional action learning sets with peers from universities in the North West region.

9. Open Data Week 2024 new sessions added

   Join a week of online events and workshops from Monday 21 to Friday 25 October.
