   From the start of the 2024/25 academic year the institutional style for Harvard referencing is changing from Harvard LJMU to Harvard Cite Them Right.

4. Success for Team LJMU at BUCS Tournament

   Team LJMU has won three events at the British University and Colleges Sport Tournament earlier this month.

5. LJMU celebrates international scholarship students

   Seven international scholarship students have joined LJMU this academic year after receiving the prestigious international Chevening and GREAT scholarships.

6. LJMU Climate Research Institute

   Staff are invited to attend a second workshop focussed on the proposed LJMU Climate Research Institute. It follows the successful design sprint session held in December, in which colleagues with research interests in the area met to begin scoping out the planned institute.

7. Join LJMU for Liverpool Pride 2023

   Students, Staff and Alumni are invited to join LJMU at Liverpool Pride 2023 on Saturday 29 July.

8. LJMU celebrate Chemistry Week with neurodiverse learners

   Staff and students from across Outreach, Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies and Faculty of Science joined forces with neurodiverse learners to celebrate Chemistry Week 2023.

9. LJMU residential for young people

   LJMU Outreach has welcomed young people from 12 schools across the north west region to its annual Year 10 Residential, targeted specifically at those in local authority or residential care.

10. Disability and neurodiversity equity: next steps at LJMU

    In recognition of Disability History Month (14 November to 20 December) and the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December, we’re reflecting on our progress over the past 24 months to support staff and students with a disability/ who are neurodiverse and outlining our next steps to advance disability equity.
