2. Global Summer Schools

   Together with our partner universities around the world LJMU are offering our students the exciting opportunity to take part in one of our international Better Futures Summer Schools. 3. Pre departure advice - Go abroad

   Not all of our students are experienced travellers and the Study Abroad Team are keen to support as best we can. We host a number of compulsory information sessions that students are required to attend before embarking on their experience of lifetime.    Travelling to a summer school abroad is exciting in every sense of the word. If you’ve never been away before and you’re feeling a little apprehensive, not to worry you'll find the information you need before travelling on this page.

5. Enrolment, enrolled student, UKVI, United Kingdom Visas and Immigration, International students studying at the University

   Once you have completed your enrolment at LJMU you can settle down to enjoying everything that Liverpool and the University has to offer. However, it is important to remember that your status as an enrolled student at the University is dependent on you attending timetabled activities and completing all necessary assessments.

6. Student Policy and Regulations

   The Student Handbook explains the rules, policies and regulations and highlights where your specific rights and responsibilities lie. You'll also find links to supplementary information and guidance from different departments across the University.

7. Awards

   Academic Registry Awards, find information relating to awards, certificates, final transcripts and award confirmations.

8. Submitting your coursework

   Coursework can be handed in before the due date if completed early and should be handed in at your Faculty or School Office. All submissions must include a Coursework Submission cover sheet, available at the Faculty or School Offices. Submissions must contain certain mandatory information, i.e. Student ID number, module code and tutor’s name, etc. You may also need to add a word count.

9. Repaying your loan

   American students planning to study, or currently studying at LJMU, will need to understand their obligations to repay their federal or private loans. This section provides that information as well as repayment options and what to do if repayment becomes a problem.

10. Faces of Merseyside

    What do our faces say about who we are? The Faces of Merseyside aims to answer this. The project shows the average facial images of people in Merseyside based on their occupations and interests.
