  1. Graduation review Thursday 12 July

    The morning saw graduations from Maritime and Mechanical Engineering, the Astrophysics Research Institute, Electronics and Electrical Engineering and the School of Nursing and Allied Health. In the afternoon Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering and Technology Research Institute, Civil Engineering and Built Environment all celebrated their graduations.

  2. Women in STEM lecture series: Chi Onwurah MP

    In 1984, there were 14 per cent of female graduates in engineering and technology courses. In 2015, there was still only 14 per cent of female graduates in engineering courses. This sad statistic formed the basis of an impactful lecture by Chi Onwurah MP about the gender imbalance in Science, Technology, Engineering and Technology (STEM) subjects and subsequent careers.

    Liverpool John Moores University awards Honorary Fellowship to Steve Burrows CBE at Liverpool Cathedral on Thursday 12 July 2018.

  4. Leading the digital manufacturing revolution

    A unique business support programme, set to power a digital manufacturing revolution in the Liverpool City Region, will be using research and academic expertise from the LJMU Faculty of Engineering and Technology.

  5. Strengthening links with Panama

    LJMU strengthens links with the International Maritime University (UMIP) and the Technological University (UTP) of Panama.
