   Outreach at LJMU is committed to reducing the gaps in higher education. We deliver programmes to promote fair access to education, find out more about our activities.

2. Using forensic science to tackle illegal wildlife trade 

   More effective measures of detection are needed to help stop the trade in illegal animal products. An LJMU graduate is working on an innovative approach to address the problem.

   Ever thought about whose job it was to decide what products should be on the supermarket shelves? We catch up with graduate Emily Burr, a buyer for Booths Supermarket, to find out what it's like to decide what the nation eats.

4. LJMU does positive action

   Positive Action are programmes and initiatives which LJMU and other organisations can take to address the under representation of communities in the workplace.

5. Admin and Executive Support Network

   The Admin and Executive Support Network is aimed at all internal administrative staff in roles such as (but not exclusive to) Personal Assistant, Executive Support Officer and Faculty Administrator from across the university.

6. Bambis Breastfeeding Friendly Charter

   LJMU was awarded the Liverpool Bambis Breastfeeding Friendly Mayoral Award in June 2022. The award recognises commitment to supporting staff, students and visitors who are breastfeeding their children to feel welcome to do so across campus buildings.
