From the first person in her remote village in Pakistan to attend university, to a doctorate, Dr Maryam Kawsar graduated from LJMU with a PhD today.
As an Armed Forces friendly organisation, LJMU has introduced new measures to better support veterans, reservists and their partners who work for the university, or who may look to join the institution in the future.
Research by the Institute of Capital Culture, a collaboration between LJMU and the University of Liverpool, has found that creating a positive digital culture at work and encouraging worker confidence in digital tools are the most important factors in ensuring digital roll-outs are successful.
