2. Transgender Day / Remembrance Vigil Liverpool 

   Today is Transgender Day or Remembrance (20th November 2019) - A vigil will be held in Exchange Station 6.00pm onwards

4. Black History Month Lecture reaches over 100 pupils!

   In celebration of Black History Month LJMU Historian Dr Andrea Livesey delivered a bespoke lecture entitled "Toppling Statues and renaming building" | The Black Lives Matter Movement and the History of Slavery to young people across the U.K.

5. International student, Roy's five favourite Liverpool spots

   LJMU MSc Electrical Power and Control Engineering postgraduate student Roy gives us his five favourite spots in the city

6. New Pavilion now open

   Your fantastic new Pavilion at Aldham Robarts Library is now open.

7. World Mental Health Day 2019

   World Mental Health Day on October the 10th is the annual global celebration of mental health education, awareness and advocacy. Throughout the week starting Monday 7th– Friday 11th October LJMU Student Advice and Wellbeing Services will be delivering a range of activities and raising awareness to celebrate good mental health and encourage us all to look at what we can do to maintain and promote positive wellbeing.

8. Young people in care show their creativity

   Young people in care across the country have shown their creative talent as part of an LJMU contest.

9. Owen Copland: "A remarkable young man"

   Staff and students joined a flood of tributes to Owen Copland who died on Christmas Day after a long battle with a brain tumour.
