    The Psychology and Criminology Network seeks to understand and support victims and witnesses of crime, the rehabilitation of offenders, international policing practice, policy and culture and aid forensic practitioner resilience.

    The Environmental Monitoring and Control research theme is focused on addressing global challenges and sustainable development goals related to quality monitoring systems for sustainable agriculture, novel technologies for good health and well-being monitoring, sustainable management, and quality monitoring of water resources.

    The Holistic Built Environment research theme is focused on sustainability related research problem including legal, social, economic, engineering, and management related aspects of Built Environment using novel approaches like digitalisation, Digital Twin, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality and offsite manufacturing techniques.

  4. The Football Exchange

    We deliver real-world solutions to the football community. Our areas of interest within football include: fitness and nutrition, psychology, match analysis, physical activity, skill acquistion and coaching, and performance analysis.

  5. Shot Under the Volcano

    Shot Under the Volcano is a new multimedia installation by John Hyatt and the design agency, Uniform, at the Bluecoat and Sensor City inspired by Malcolm Lowry's 'Under the Volcano'.

  6. Electric Machines and Drives Group

    The Electric Machines and Drives Research Group conducts research into: variable-speed electric drive systems, electrical power generation plants for renewable energy sources and power electronic converters for interfacing the variable-speed drives and generators.

  7. (Post)qualitative Research in Education

    The (Post)qualitative Research in Education group recognises and works across the following areas of activity and interest: ‘Research in Psychogeography, Post-qualitative inquiry, Authoethnography, and Life-Writing in education’ (RiPPALe).
