5. Public Health Institute and Drama students create educational film on gang-related violence

   LJMU Drama students have joined forces with LJMUs Public Health Institute to create an educational film helping NHS staff deal with the consequences of gang-related violence in hospitals.

6. LJMU fashion and broadcast staff raise career aspirations of local schoolchildren

   Cathy Reilly, fashion design and manufacture technologist, and Bradley Hessey, an experienced broadcast technologist , joined schoolchildren from St Leo’s School in Whiston during their Ambition Week.

7. Enhancing the student experience through improved assessment and feedback guidance

   A project group has updated our Assessment and Feedback Policy as well as launched a new mini site of guidance for staff to utilise.

   The Leadership and Development Foundation is undergoing some changes to better support all staff development across the whole of LJMU.

   The final round of Discovery Internships for this academic year is open for applications from second (level 5) and final year (level 6) students.

10. Invictus Games UK team members get support from LJMU sport scientists

    Strength and conditioning training as well as nutritional advice and access to gym facilities is on offer for two Merseyside-based competitors.
