    Accommodation suitable for students with families is not provided by LJMU. The rooms which we provide in our partner halls are only available to full-time students. They are not available to the partners or children of students.

  3. His Holiness the Dalai Lama

    An Honorary Fellow of LJMU for his continual pursuance of peace and one of the most memorable Roscoe lecturers to have graced the stage at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral for our popular public lecture series that has been running since 1997.

  4. About the Centre

    Researchers in the Centre in Evolutionary Anthropology and Palaeoecology have used drones for the conservation of habitats, discovered how Neolithic agriculture spread, and uncovered the earliest evidence of hunting - to point out just a few of our achievements.   5. Forensic Research Institute (FORRI)

    The Forensic Research Institute is a research and training organisation with expertise in aspects of evidence collection, analysis, reporting and testimony. We have a proven track record of impact in assisting criminal justice agencies in crime-prevention, police work, the preparation of cases, victim identification, victim and witness support and much more.

    Lots of great work has gone into the Faculty’s Canvas courses (modules) this summer and it has been a real pleasure to see them take shape.

  7. Supporting our city and communities

    LJMU is a key partner in working towards the Liverpool City Region’s target to be net zero carbon by 2040. We work with a wide range of other organisations on initiatives to tackle climate change and protect our environment.

  8. Dr Elizabeth Malone

    Elizabeth is the Head of Primary Programmes within the School of Education, and her own career in teaching brought her to work at the university. In 2023, she won a JMSU Student Experience Award, after being nominated as an outstanding teacher with students praising her for her support, empathy, and enthusiasm in all that she does.
